Luffy’s Gear 4 Snakeman form gives this King of Artist Special Ver II figure a sharper, faster-looking silhouette than the bulkier Boundman version. The sculpt pushes the action forward through Luffy’s tense expression, black Haki-coated arms, clenched fists, red shorts and the blue smoke effect twisting around his upper body, making the figure feel like it is caught mid-attack rather than simply posed for display.
This is the Assort B Snakeman version from Banpresto’s two-type Special Ver II release, paired with Assort A Boundman. Banpresto notes that the Snakeman version uses the mould from the 2019 King of Artist The Snakeman release with updated colouring, so it is best treated as a special colour variation of an existing sculpt rather than a totally new figure.
At approximately 19 cm tall, the figure has strong vertical presence while still fitting comfortably into most One Piece displays. It works especially well beside the matching Boundman Special Ver II, Gear 5 Luffy, Kaido, Katakuri, or other battle-focused Banpresto figures where the blue smoke, Haki arms and aggressive Gear 4 pose can stand out clearly.
