This Romance Dawn Vol. 1 Monkey D. Luffy figure goes back to the start of One Piece, showing Luffy in his early-series outfit with the red sleeveless vest, blue shorts, sandals and straw hat. The pose has a playful, almost poster-like energy: one arm thrown upward, one hand holding his hat, one leg kicked high and his mouth wide open in the kind of excited expression that fits Luffy’s first adventure era.
Compared with the Vol. 2 Romance Dawn figure, this version is the more nostalgic one, focusing on pre-timeskip Luffy before the later red jacket and yellow sash look. The sculpt is compact but lively, with the raised leg and stretched silhouette making it feel wider and more animated than a normal standing figure.
At approximately 12 cm tall and 16 cm wide, this Banpresto figure is a smaller shelf piece, but the pose gives it strong visual personality.
