Frieza is brought into Banpresto’s Match Makers line in a dramatic battle-focused pose, designed as the opposing figure to Son Goku from the same release. The official Dragon Ball site describes this figure as being based on Frieza’s showdown against Goku, and the sculpt captures that rivalry with Frieza rising from his hover pod, arms raised, mouth open and claws spread as if taunting or preparing to attack.
The design uses Frieza’s first-form armour, shoulder guards, curved horns, long tail and sharp facial expression to give the piece a strong villain presence. At approximately 16 cm tall, it has enough height to display clearly on its own, while the Match Makers format makes it especially effective when paired with the matching Son Goku figure for a Namek-saga face-off scene.
