This Special Ver. King of Artist figure gives Roronoa Zoro a darker, more dramatic Wano-era display style, using a black seated outfit, exposed chest scar, green hair and his three swords arranged around the pose. The sculpt has a heavier presence than many upright Zoro figures, with the wide seated stance, lowered gaze and sword-gripping hands making it feel closer to a quiet pre-battle moment than a simple character portrait.
The Special Ver. colouring is the key detail here. Banpresto’s official listing notes that this release uses the same mould as the earlier Wano II Zoro figure, but with updated colouring for the Zoro and Sanji Special Ver. line. On this Zoro version, the glossy black clothing, red waist sash and metallic sword hilts give the figure a cleaner, more premium-looking contrast against his green hair and stern expression.
At approximately 18 cm tall, this Banpresto Roronoa Zoro figure is a strong choice for One Piece collectors who want a King of Artist figure with more weight and shelf presence than a smaller DXF-style release. It pairs naturally with the matching Sanji Special Ver., other Wano figures, or a Straw Hat Pirates display built around Zoro’s swordsman identity.
